Biography

Robert L. Quail joined Clement, Fitzpatrick & Kenworthy Incorporated in 2003, after nearly a decade of service as Vice President/General Counsel for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, Ltd. After almost forty years of practice. Mr. Quail has extensive experience with all aspects of commercial real estate and business transactions, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, and financing transactions for developers, business owners, and investors. In addition, Mr. Quail continues his specialized representation of wineries, and vineyard owners in the areas unique to those businesses.

While at Kendall-Jackson, Mr. Quail provided advice and counsel for one of the fastest growing and most dynamic companies in the wine industry. He managed all legal issues of the business during his tenure, helping guide the company through the acquisition and development of thousands of acres of vineyards and several wineries on four continents. Among other duties, he advised the company on matters unique to the wine industry, such as the laws and regulations surrounding wine production, beverage alcohol distribution and viticulture.

Mr. Quail's community involvement includes being a board member of the Sonoma Humane Society and a former Board Member of KRCB Public Media, the local PBS and NPR affiliate in the North Bay region. From 2004 to 2010, Mr. Quail served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Oak Grove School District in west Sonoma County and has previously served on the boards of several other community organizations in Sonoma County.
